Application Scenarios of Stainless Steel Compressed Wire Mesh Gaskets

 

Stainless steel compressed wire mesh gaskets are generally made of 304 or 316L stainless steel wire mesh through compression. With porous elastic structure different from solid metal gaskets, they integrate multiple functions including sealing, shock absorption, noise reduction, filtration, buffering, electrical conduction and heat dissipation.


1. Automotive Industry (Largest Application Field)


Automotive exhaust systems: flange gaskets for exhaust pipes and connecting gaskets of three-way catalytic converters. They withstand high temperature and exhaust corrosion, buffer engine vibration and prevent air leakage.
Sealing gaskets for turbocharger joints and EGR exhaust gas recirculation pipelines.
New energy vehicle battery modules: shock-absorbing, heat-conducting and conductive buffer gaskets for battery cells, as well as shockproof sealing parts for battery housings.
Shock absorption buffer gaskets for air compressors and vacuum pumps.


2. Construction Machinery & General Mechanical Equipment


Sealing and buffering for hydraulic and pneumatic valve assemblies and pump bodies.
